opportunity, to join a major player in the FMCG research
sector, for a research scientist with excellent academic
research experience
Working
not just within the UK but worldwide, this client provides
independent advice and services to the Food and Drinks
industry, to help improve quality and ensure product
safety for the consumer.
This
role will be sitting within the Sensory and Consumer
sciences division, with an international reputation
in their field. New research staff are needed, to undertake
a range of projects with clients in the UK and the European
Union
Reporting
to a senior scientist, the ideal candidate will have
the ability to drive and initiate short, medium and
long term research projects in the area of sensory and
consumer sciences. The nature of the work is best described
as applied academic research. Experienced in research
design, analysis, interpretation and reporting, you
will be comfortable presenting your findings verbally
and in a range of written formats
There
is a real opportunity to have a major impact of the
future direction and growth of research, plus opportunities
to publish your papers, developing your career academically
Due
to the sector they operate in, a qualification in food
science or social sciences would be preferred. Industrial
experience in the field of sensory sciences or consumer
research a real bonus too.
